Offered here is a charming antique pendant suspended from an exceptionally long chain.
This piece is most likely Edwardian in date, circa 1905. The pendant appears to have been converted from an earlier brooch and has a silver-coloured finish. It is not magnetic and does not test as silver.
The chain is marked “SIL GS” but likewise does not test as silver. It exhibits slight magnetic properties.
An unusual and attractive piece, the chain measures an impressive 34.6 inches (88 cm) in length, making it a particularly rare size.
