A striking 1930s European Egyptian Revival pendant necklace, featuring a finely detailed wheat sheaf motif above a porcelain scarab beetle, with hieroglyphic decoration to the reverse.
The scarab is flanked by two elegant busts of Cleopatra, creating a beautifully balanced and distinctive design.
Suspended from a silver chain measuring approximately 28.3inch (72cm) in total length (long!) with the pendant itself measuring 2inch (5cm) in width.
The pendant is not hallmarked but tests as silver. The chain has the common control import hallmark for 925 silver. It also tests as silver.
