Here we have a lovely Victorian Locket Pendant With Chain. Late 19th Century.

Acid testing shows the chain to be silver but not the pendant though the appearance of the pendant is that of silver and is not magnetic.

The locket opens to reveal two images, of a Victorian girl and boy. Both images will easily come out should you wish to put your own in there.

Total weight is approx 26.6 grams. For locket size and chain length, please see photos.

A most unusual and interesting item. Ready to wear and be admired!

The antique box in the photos is just for presentation and does not form part of this sale.

We give our items a wipe over but not a “back to new” clean. Many of our buyers prefer it this way which is why we do it. In the early days we did clean everything so it was shiny again but we got “told off” so many times by clients that we now do it the quick way.

The reason being that it takes just minutes to clean 100 years or more of patina off when you receive the item should you wish but another 100 years or more to put it back on again if you prefer it that way. A long wait.
