MURRLE BENNETT & CO. – a beautiful early 20th-century 9ct gold amethyst pendant. Designed in an elegant openwork style, it features an oval amethyst in a collet setting, framed by a delicate foliate surround and finished with a matching amethyst drop below. The piece bears the maker’s mark for Murrle Bennett & Co along with a 9ct stamp, and has been tested to confirm 9ct gold.
It is paired with a brand-new 9ct gold curb chain (1.3mm width -16inch, 40cm length) with full UK hallmarks. If you wish to purchase the pendant alone please send us a message using our contact form.
For those interested in the maker’s history, Murrle Bennett & Co was a collaboration between German jeweller Mr. Murrle and his English partner, Mr. Bennet, operating from 15 Charterhouse Street, London.
