Here we have a striking Scottish silver bracelet with agate & amethyst, most likely dating from the 1920’s.
No hallmark is present, as was quite common in those days but the metal has been acid tested as being silver.
A truly stunning piece in excellent working condition!

We give our items a clean over but not a “back to new” clean. Many of our buyers prefer it this way which is why we do it. In the early days we did clean everything so it was shiny again but we got “told off” so many times by clients that we now do it the quick way.
Reason being that it takes just minutes to clean 100 years or more of patina off when you receive the item should you wish but another 100 years or more to put it back on again if you prefer it that way. A long wait.
