Here we have a very nice vintage hinged oval shaped gold photo locket. A heavy one at 6.5 grams.
No chain is included in this sale only the locket.
It carries full UK Hallmarks and was made around 1975.
It closes perfectly with a nice “click”.
Locket height incl bale: 4.5cm (1.77inch) Width: 2.5cm (.98inch) approx.
Locket weight: approx 6.5gm.
Perfect to wear on it’s own with the chain of your choice or to fit one or two photos (one clear perspex cover is missing so you may wish to cut a piece of thin plastic to fit if you wish to hold two photos, though most people do not bother) or to hold very tiny articles.
