A beautiful c1880s – 1890s Victorian locket with delicately engraving on both sides.
It is unmarked, not uncommon for the era, and we believe it “may” be silver ‘back and front’ meaning sheets of silver mounted on a base metal frame.
It has a large sturdy bale and would look lovely worn on anything from a chunky silver chain to a velvet ribbon.
It snaps shut with a satisfying click.
